Clifford Gouldson Lawyers recently celebrated its official office opening event in the refurbished Toowoomba Foundry building, in combination with its 2023 Artist-in-Residence Exhibition featuring Anne O’Sullivan.
We were excited to finally share our new office space with clients and colleagues. This amazing space offers an improved working environment for our team, larger client meeting rooms, as well as more room for hosting events and seminars.
Being given the opportunity to work in a space with such historical and cultural significance to our region is a real honour for our business, and we were proud to exhibit a collection of historical photographs of the premises we had collected for the night.
Thank you to the more than 130 guests who were able to join us.
In combination with our opening event, our 2023 Artist-in-Residence, Anne O’Sullivan, graced us with a fantastic exhibition of her work which filled our halls and boardroom with colour.
The CGLaw Artist-in-Residence program offers a local artist the opportunity to work and create in the same environment as the firm’s legal teams. The residency includes involvement by our team in the artist’s creative process as well as an opportunity to participate in creating some artwork themselves. This year a piece put together from individually created staff efforts was a real highlight.
A percentage of sale proceeds from the program goes to a charity of the artist’s choosing which this year was Emerge who benefitted to the tune of $2649.
This event marks a momentous occasion for our firm. We offer our thanks to our loyal clients, advocates and referrers over the past 17 years, and all of our past and current staff, for the continued support that has allowed us to grow and reach this milestone.
