Impacted by the level of the homelessness problem in Toowoomba, and the passion of those trying to help, a team from CGLaw will be raising funds as part of the Homeless for a Night event. Joining CGLaw Director Ben Gouldson for the sleepout on 5 August 2019 is CGLaw lawyers Simon Playford and Kyle Paull.
The team are eager to shine a light on the emerging problem of homelessness in the Toowoomba community and are urging others who cannot participate in the Homeless for a Night event to give generously to our local community through the campaign.
CGLaw is also a major sponsor of the Base Services Homeless Week Breakfast which will be held the morning after the sleepout. At the recent launch of this event we heard how Toowoomba local David Lingwoodock credited his recent acquisition of permanent housing to the Base Services.
