Clifford Gouldson is pleased to announce the establishment of the CGLaw Endowment Fund with the University of Southern Queensland.
This Fund has been established through a financial gift from CGLaw, matched by the University, that will see a perpetual prize awarded each year to a USQ student.
The CGLaw fund will provide a prize each year in either Civil Procedure or Advanced Civil Procedure to the top performing student.
CGLaw Managing Director Ben Gouldson said, “As our local university and home of Toowoomba’s only law course we are very proud to partner with USQ to offer this perpetual prize.”
“USQ has three campuses (Toowoomba, Ipswich and Springfield), consistently ranks in the top 2% of Universities worldwide, and its graduates consistently rank highest in Australia for graduate employment and salaries.”
“Our firm has a long history of working with USQ both as a supplier of legal services and as a critical member of the business community in Toowoomba.”
“I am personally a proud USQ graduate in Commerce and the firm has had great success employing current and former USQ law students,” Ben said.
We were pleased to welcome USQ’s Professor Reid Mortensen and Professor Caroline Hart to our office recently to celebrate the endowment fund with our Directors Amanda Tolson, Danny Clifford and Ben Gouldson.
