Stage two of minimum wage increase

You are here: Home / News / Stage two of minimum wage increase

In June 2020 the Fair Work Commission announced a 1.75% increase to minimum wages. This applies to all award wages and is being rolled out in three stages.

Stage two of the 1.75%  minimum wage increase took affect on 1 November 2020. The main awards that are affected are Building & Construction, Manufacturing, Clerks, Food & Beverage, Horticulture, Miscellaneous and Professional Services. You can access the full list of affected awards here.

Employers should ensure that all affected modern award wages are increased accordingly from 1 November 2020.
