Minimum wage increase from 1 July

The Fair Work Commission has announced an increase to the national minimum wage of 3 per cent, which will apply from 1 July 2019.

This means the new national minimum wage will be $740.80 per week or $19.49 per hour. An increase of $21.60 per week.

Employers should ensure that all minimum award wages are increased accordingly from 1 July 2019.
