Oliver is a lawyer at Clifford Gouldson Lawyers. He joined the team after undertaking work experience at the firm.
He currently works in Litigation + Dispute Resolution with a focus on civil litigation, which he loves for its variety, the potential for negotiation and for being able to obtain great outcomes for his clients. Clients benefit from Oliver’s strong research skills and efficiency.
Oliver particularly enjoys the art of negotiating and the challenges of litigation, as he likes trying to work out the other side’s position and see through their words to find their true intentions or position.
He is fortunate to be involved in the first class action in Queensland, and a particularly large matter for a regional firm.
When not at work, Oliver likes tennis, snowboarding and vexillology, which is the study of flags. As a former self-employed musician, Oliver also enjoys listening, performing and writing music. He is also always on the hunt to find the best bowl of Ramen, Szechuan fried chicken and sizzling Mongolian lamb.
Oliver enjoys engaging with the wider community and is an active member of the Toowoomba Tennis Association, Queensland Tennis Centre, Melbourne Cricket Club and the St Johns College at University of Queensland Old Johnian’s Association.
Oliver was an Australian delegate to the 2018 UN Youth Peace Camp in South Korea.
