Ken has a keen interest in agribusiness and up until recently, owned a beef cattle property in the Kyogle shire of NSW. Both Ken and his wife’s relatives come from the regions of Gatton, Goondiwindi, Charleville, and Tambo where they all had beef holdings.
Outside of work Ken has a great love of motor racing and enjoys racing his cars in club events at tracks around Queensland and occasionally interstate. Since the 1980’s he has owned and raced in several vintage, classic and modern sports cars. He currently owns a Lotus and a Mazda racing car. He also enjoys spending time in his garden that he and his wife landscaped, organising community fundraisers through the Lotus car club and travelling overseas. Ken and his wife have travelled extensively through Peru, USA, Vietnam, China, the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
