Harry is working at Clifford Gouldson Lawyers while he is studying for his Bachelor of Laws and Information Technology at the Queensland University of Technology. Harry is enjoying practicing law and getting to learn about new areas that he has not yet been exposed to through his studies.
His current work is mainly in property law and drafting legal documents such as privacy policies and terms and conditions. He was recently involved in drafting documents for emerging tech startups, which has allowed him to combine his two areas of study – IT and law. Harry enjoyed being able to work with these innovators and entrepreneurs.
Harry has also been involved in completing research and assisting in a high profile litigation matter for the firm, alongside Ben Gouldson and Simon Playford. The matter involved complex areas of law with a director of a company liable for a costs order of their defunct business, along with research regarding liquidation liability.
Harry is passionate about law and likes working towards finding the best solution for the firm’s clients. Harry believes that law is, at its heart, about helping others, and is excited to be a part of the profession. His strengths are in research and time management, which allows him to complete delegations to a high standard with a short-turnaround.
Outside of work, Harry likes seeing his family and playing social sports with his friends. He also like to be involved with Eddie’s Van, which is a charity that was set up by his high school, to help feed and provide clothes for the homeless.
