CGLaw Welcomes Estate Planning Lawyer Sheelagh Gray
The Directors of Clifford Gouldson are pleased to announce that Toowoomba estate planning lawyer Sheelagh Gray will be joining the firm from today, 4 May 2015.
During the last two years Sheelagh has established a reputation as a committed estate planning expert in the Toowoomba market while practising under the Gray Lawyers banner.
Sheelagh will come on board as a Senior Lawyer within Clifford Gouldson’s growing Tax, Structures & Planning practice headed up by Director, Ben Gouldson.
Ben Gouldson said, “Our clients and business referrers have been increasingly asking us to provide services in this area that encompasses business and personal tax issues, structuring and entity selection and estate and business succession planning.
"We want to ensure we approach this practice area a little differently than other firms. Our focus will be on true collaborative advice, involving accountants, financial planners, bankers and other professional advisers each step of the way.
“We’ve been growing this area for some time and now we’re excited about the added depth we can offer through Sheelagh’s experience particularly in the areas of estate planning, structuring, succession planning and elder law.
“Sheelagh has a very personable approach that has seen her develop a strong and loyal following amongst both clients and referrers in just over two years in solo practice.”
While Sheelagh has enjoyed the flexibility provided in running her own practice she is very much looking forward to the additional support and camaraderie provided by joining the Clifford Gouldson team.
Sheelagh said, “I’ve known the directors Ben, Danny and Amanda as friends and colleagues for some time and have always respected their approach to business, client service and legal practice.
“When I decided the future of my practice would be best placed within a firm with a broader client base and service offering Clifford Gouldson was my first choice.
"Ben's dual qualifications in Law and Commerce (Majoring in Accounting) provide he and the CGLaw team with a unique set of skills which I'm excited about accessing as part of our collaborative work with other professional advisers.
“I’m very pleased that we’ve been able to achieve a result that will benefit Clifford Gouldson while allowing me to continue to practise as one of Toowoomba’s few lawyers committed solely to this area of law.
