Print Version

A reminder to our primary production clients who are thinking about undertaking succession planning. The $2,500 rebate available from the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority is coming to end on 30 June 2019.
Thinking about getting advice around your farming succession plans? Now is the time to get that process underway in time to enable your rebate application to be processed.
Farm Management Grants of up to $2,500 are available to primary producers and their relatives to help offset the costs of professional advice associated with farm succession planning. Eligible advice includes that received from solicitors, accountants, financial advisors, and succession planners. Primary producers can apply for this rebate in the year they incur the cost, so for advice obtained in 2018-19, the deadline is 30 June 2019.
This program is funded until 30 June 2019, more information can be obtained from QRIDA.
Please do not hesitate to contact a member of our Tax Structuring and Planning team to discuss your succession and estate planning needs.
