Kylie Howell is the Head of Section of our firm's growing construction practice area. Kylie’s approach to managing, advising on and resolving client’s construction matters is based on a deep understanding of the need for business to get through projects with a minimum of difficulty so profits are maintained.
Providing a clear direction for each client’s matter and a personal commitment to getting the best result has seen Kylie successfully assist clients in a range of matters including business start-up and compliance with QBCC requirements, negotiating and drafting contracts, reviewing and implementing tailored contract administration processes and managing disputes and complex litigation matters. Kylie has a particular interest in ensuring clients utilise the provisions of the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act 2004 (Qld) and the Subcontractors’ Charges Act 1974 (Qld) to their full advantage. She has also dealt with disputes that involve trade practices, consumer protection, professional negligence, breach of contract, sale of goods, insolvency and bankruptcy.
